Keynote #2 :Closing The Confidence Gap

Despite having more women than ever in leadership roles today, doubt, imposter feelings, and systemic issues like gendered expectations and likability biases are costly, holding women back from their peace, their potential, and their paychecks. In this keynote based on Kelli's critically acclaimed book, you'll hear deeply personal stories and walk away with practical tools to own your unique leadership style, stop allowing doubt to hold you back, and speak up in the rooms where decisions are made to drive results. After all, it's not that successful leaders never feel doubt, it's that they've learned to lead successfully while also feeling doubt.

What would you do if you had a little more confidence? Would you take the next step in your career, assume more leading roles, set boundaries, ask for a raise, or even run for office?

Despite having more women than ever in leadership roles today, doubt and imposter feelings are a big reason women hold back and play small instead of going for what they truly desire at work. Coupling this with gendered expectations and likability biases women experience in the workplace today, it's no wonder that so many women are undervaluing themselves and their abilities.

These doubtful thoughts and systemic issues are expensive—they cost women (and their organizations) their peace, their potential, and in their paychecks.

To close the confidence gap and see more women showing up in their full potential at work, we need more women leaders at the top of organizations using their unique leadership style and approach. There are many ways to define executive presence and when you show up like someone else, you give away the power that makes you – YOU.

IN THIS KEYNOTE BASED ON KELLI'S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED BOOK, YOU'LL HEAR DEEPLY PERSONAL STORIES AND WALK AWAY WITH PRACTICAL TOOLS TO:

Own your unique leadership style and use it to make lasting impact
Stop allowing doubt and imposter feelings to hold you back
Speak up in the rooms where decisions are made to drive results
After all, it's not that successful leaders never feel doubt, it's that they've learned to lead successfully while also feeling doubt. Confidence is a side effect of taking action.

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO BOOST THEIR PEACE, POTENTIAL AND THEIR PAYCHECK BY:

1. Recognizing the true causes of the confidence gap and learning practical tools to close it
2. Owning the peace that comes with accepting their unique leadership style and using their unique talents for a powerful presence and lasting impact
3. Recognize the sneaky causes of doubt and imposter feelings and learn simple tools to boost their confidence and leadership potential in the moments that matter
4. Stop self-silencing and learn to advocate in the rooms where decisions are made, boosting everyone's paycheck
