Bio

Deanna Marsigliese is a celebrated artist, designer, and storyteller whose work has inspired audiences worldwide. Her journey began in Toronto, Canada, where she nurtured a passion for drawing and animation from a young age. With a formal education from Sheridan College’s Classical Animation program, Deanna honed her skills and developed a distinct artistic voice.

Her career took a leap when she joined the ranks of Pixar Animation Studios. Deanna’s talent quickly shone through, contributing to the character design and art direction of numerous beloved films, including “Inside Out,” “Coco,” and “Soul”. Her work on these projects has not only captivated audiences but has also received critical acclaim for its creativity and emotional depth.

Deanna is not only a masterful artist but also a dedicated mentor and keynote speaker. She has shared her knowledge and experience at prestigious events around the globe, helping to inspire the next generation of artists and designers. Her dynamic presentations blend fascinating behind-the-scenes insights with practical advice, always delivered with her trademark enthusiasm and warmth.

Deanna is a Character Art Director at Pixar. Since 2012, she has contributed to such feature films as Incredibles 2, Toy Story 4, Inside Out & The Good Dinosaur, along with the celebrated short, Bao.
